Professional Background
Siva is a Finance Change and Transformation Practitioner with significant experience in delivering global,
complex restructuring programs for the Banking industry. A qualified accountant, he has twenty years’
experience in Change Management in Oracle, SAP, OFSAA, Hyperion EPM and SAS EGRC. He is an expert
in Basel III / ICAAP, UKGAAP, USGAAP, IFRS, ALM BI, LRM, ERM, Solvency II, ISO 31000, Dodd-Frank
Act, SOX, SAS Customer Intelligence, Credit Analysis, Risk Analysis, both Analytics and Exalytics, and a
domain expert in ERP Implementations of SAP, Oracle, SAS, Hyperion and other Advanced and Complex
GRC Projects. Siva has in-depth experience of Finance systems architecture, General Ledger strategy,
Enterprise Performance Management, Regulatory, Statutory and Management reporting, Finance, Risk and
Treasury integration, Product Accounting solutions, Data Warehousing and Data Management, BI and EPM,
and BPM.
Significant Achievements
• Involved in large, core retail banking transformation Project, the first of its kind, using the pioneering
banking software Flexcube, Reveleus, & OFSAA, Hyperion, OBIEE in IBM DB2 Environment, HADOOP
and TeraData.
• Implemented a large treasury banking pilot project including HSBC Risk modules and conducting Payment
Card Industry Compliance. Mitigated risks outlined within the Compliance Control.
• Significant experience of designing architecture and delivering projects across finance functions. This
included OFSAA modules, in particular Liquidity Reporting and Asset Liability.

Expertise regarding the following areas within banking, specifically with the use of
OFSAA's calculation engines and data model:
o Profitability;
o Cost accounting/allocation;
o Activity Based Costing;
o Funds Transfer Pricing and refinancing models;
o Credit Risk (for risk adjustment to numbers);
o Link between profitability and pricing and able to guide on pricing impact from
profitability;

Financial Service Banking industry experience in retail is critical and experience
working with instalment finance/VAF businesses is preferable

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
Requirement - Technical Siva Narayan
Very good technical understanding of OFSAA and how the calculation processing
works.
OFSAA implementation experience in Profitability manager (indication of
customers worked on is preferable).
Experience in integration of third party calculation engines for data to be fed into
OFSAA, for example risk management applications (SAS).

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
Requirement - Technical Siva
Experience in data requirements definitions and feeding OFSAA from a series of
different source applications and other legacy systems.
Experience in interfacing Profitability Manager and Hyperion Planning for cost
allocation, reporting and for scenario planning.
Experience in operationalising an OFSAA application management to support the
product life cycles and ongoing maintenance, for example data model extensions
that do not impact on the upgrade path.
Able to guide on the relevant environment governance to ensure a maintainable
environment once in production.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements Siva Narayan
Experience across a number of OFSAA projects specifically related East and West
Europe with the same accounting rules.
A team and network with OFSAA expertise.
Preferably able to construct a team to provide a service in order to offer a blended
rate and deliver the combined expertise required.

process from functional specification to technical specification to build and
