ADVANCED MODELING OF A 2-KW SERIES–SERIES
RESONATING INDUCTIVE CHARGER FOR
REAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE
ABSTRACT
This paper focuses on the design of a contactless charging system for electric vehicles
(EVs) using inductive loops connected to a resonance converter. The study carries out the system
operation, electromagnetic radiation, and testing. It is shown that the presence of the chassis
leads to a double resonance and has a strong influence on the radiated fields.

Advanced modeling of a 2 k w series–series resonating inductive charger for real electric vehicle

  • 1. ADVANCED MODELING OF A 2-KW SERIES–SERIES RESONATING INDUCTIVE CHARGER FOR REAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE ABSTRACT This paper focuses on the design of a contactless charging system for electric vehicles (EVs) using inductive loops connected to a resonance converter. The study carries out the system operation, electromagnetic radiation, and testing. It is shown that the presence of the chassis leads to a double resonance and has a strong influence on the radiated fields.
