목적 및 범위
본 검증은 현대캐피탈이 2019 년 12 월 6 일 자로 발행한 총 2,000 억 원 규모 녹색채권 발행대금이 중요성
관점에서 국제자본시장협회(International Capital Market Association)의 녹색채권원칙(Green Bond Principles)에
따라 2018 년 9 월부터 2018 년 12 월까지 사용된 자금의 리파이낸싱을 위해 공정하고 적정하게 사용되었는지
여부에 대한 제한적 검증을 제공하기 위해 계획되었습니다.

현대캐피탈은 녹색채권원칙에 준한 녹색채권 관리체계 및 투자자 안내문의 모든 내용에 대한 책임이
있습니다. 경영진은 현대캐피탈의 녹색채권 관리체계에 부합하는 관리 및 내부 통제체계를 확립하고 유지할
책임이 있습니다. 또한, 경영진은 녹색채권 관리체계에 부합하도록 녹색채권 발행자금을 적절하게 배분, 관리
및 운용할 책임이 있습니다.
본 검증인은 제한적 검증을 수행하고 검증 결과를 바탕으로 결론을 제시해야 할 책임이 있습니다.
독립성
본 검증인은 국제회계사연맹(International Federation of Accountants)의 윤리헌장을 준수하며, 녹색채권
관리체계 작성 업무를 포함한 독립적인 검증 활동과 의견 표명에 영향을 줄 수 있는 여타 업무 수행을
금지하고 있습니다. 삼정회계법인은 독립성 문제 발생 예방 및 윤리헌장 준수 모니터링에 관한 적절한
시스템과 프로세스를 보유하고 있습니다.
검증기준
검증활동은 국제감사인증기준위원회(International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board)가 발행한
International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000 (Revised), Assurance Engagements Other Than
Audits or Reviews of Historical Financial Information을 바탕으로 실시되었습니다. 본 기준은 검증인의 독립성
요건과 관련 윤리적 요건을 포함하며, 보고서가 올바르게 작성되도록 제한적 검증을 계획 및 수행할 요건을
포함합니다.

검증의견
본 검증인이 수행한 절차와 획득한 증거에 기초할 때 현대캐피탈이 2019 년 12 월 6 일 자로 발행한 총
2,000 억 원 규모 녹색채권 발행대금이 중요성 관점에서 녹색채권원칙에 부합하지 않게 사용되었다고 보이지
않습니다.
