the control of premises and facilities.
• The producer is responsible for day to day

• At the investment and commissioning stage,
a risk assessment should be undertaken.

you need to consider with health and safety?
• Only undertake work that has been
adequately funded
• Produce a health and safety statement
detailing each member of staffs
responsibilities
• Detail the procedure for risk assessment and
monitoring of performance.
• Identify who has control of location and
facilities
• All staff are vetted to ensure that they are
competent

• Ensure all external contractors appointed
understands rules of health and safety
• Identify additional staff training needs
• Ensure a full risk assessment is undertaken
• Ensure the risk assessments are followed
• Report accidents and incidents during
production and follow procedures.

• A risk assessment is a document that
outlines the dangers and considers ways
to prevent dangers from happening.
