Operations Dept.) in a well-known Canadian gold mining
company, Ilias Atwani is an accomplished mining engineering
professional with many years of experience under his belt.
He is known for his expertise in Mining Oriented Operational
Analysis/Modeling: Surpac®, Whittle®, Talpac®;
Programming: Matlab®, C/C++, VB; CAD Software like
AutoCAD® (Amine & Promine), SolidWorks®, Silverscreen®
(CAMP), 3D Reshaper®; and Management and Logistics:
SAP®, JD Edwards®.

2. Ilias Atwani started his career in the year 2008 as an intern
for a Meknes, Morocco based company where he handled a
wide range of tasks under the supervision of experienced
foremen and operators. Later, he got the chance to work
with a British-Swiss multinational commodity trading and
mining company (Mining Engineering Department) as an
intern. During his six years of internship with the company,
he established the weekly schedules & planning; monitored
the ore/waste quantities & monitored plans issuance;
managed the Volumetric reconciliation & adjustment of
excavated and blasted roc quantities; and handled 3D design
& Survey data processing (Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD,
3DReshaper).
In addition to these tasks, he was responsible for the
issuance of drilling, loading, and blasting plans (Open Pits,
Quarries & Collecting Ponds), and was involved in the Tailing
storage management. He also regularly attended the
coordination & planning meetings to stay updated with the
progress of various projects.
