This is a newsletter I made for the Special Education Advisory Committee while I was Chair of the committee. This committee oversees the Special Education in the county of King George.

“Who are we?”

(SEAC) is a Virginia state mandated committee with specific functions
as noted in the Regulations Governing Special Education Programs for
Children with Disabilities in Virginia. We must abide by Federal, State, WHO VOLUNTEERS
and Local policies, procedures, and guidelines. We are an arm of the
School Board and our main function is to “advise the local division of needs in the education of children
with disabilities” in King George County. Regulations state membership to be: “majority of the EVERYBODY knows that
