Introduction
Multinational companies usually face an extra task regarding SAP developments: translation. If a new report is used in multiple countries or the project team does not speak the
language of the end-users, the developments must be translated. This can be a lengthy task with a lot of manual effort. The difficulties include searching all the objects necessary to
translate, making the translation separately for each object and finally putting all the translations into a transport request. All these efforts take a long time and cost a lot of money.

Easy selection of objects
You can no longer get lost in SE63
or in SE80 to find the objects that you
need to translate. The objects to be
selected based on package, transport,
user, object type and object name.
Standard translation environment
After the objcets and subobjects are
identified, the standard SAP translation
dialog is called to carry out the transla-
tion. This gives the user a familiar user
interface which he/she can instantly
use without additional training.

2. Automatic determination of subobjects
The program determines all translatable subobjects automatically. So for example if you specify report ZABC to be translated, all the subobjects will appear automatically (screens,
screen fields, text symbols etc.).
Automatic creation of a transport request
Once the translations are finished, the user simply has to press a button to save the translations to the database. After this step, the program offers the option to immediately put all the
translations into a transport request. You no longer have to hassle with putting all translations manually into a transport.
Extended selection of objects
If desired, the program can carry out an environment analysis of the selected objects to include all other objects that are used within the defined objects. An typical example is when
a report in package X uses a data element in package Y. This data element is used on the screen so it needs to be translated, however it is not easy to find it based on package or person
responsible. Here comes the automatic environment analysis handy: the program recognizes that the report uses this data element and automatically adds it to the list of objects to be
translated.
