SESSION #2 – WORDPRESS – LET’S BLOG!
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2013 – 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.~ LOCATION TBD

       Four breakout sessions: Participants will choose between 1 of the following 4 topics:
       1. Beginning Wordpress, starting a blog.
       2. Writing pages and posts.
       3. Adding multimedia to posts and pages.
       4. Customizing menus and themes including widgets.




SESSION #3 – SURREYSCHOOLS.CA – BRINGING YOUR VIRTUAL STAFFROOM TO LIFE
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2012 – 3:30 P.M.-5:00 P.M. ~ DEC #2020

       What to bring:
       - Copies of any electronic documents you plan on sharing with your staff
         (i.e. Important dates for your calendar, Staff memos, Meeting agendas,
         Staff Handbook info, Staff Meeting Minutes, etc…)
 



     SESSION #4 – TAPPING INTO YOUR CREATIVE SIDE WITH IPAD MULTIMEDIA
     THURSDAY, JANUARY 24, 2013 – 3:30 P.M.-5:00 P.M. ~ DEC #2020
     Presenters: Antonio Vendramin & Tia Henriksen
     Facilitators: Peter Johnston, Don Chila, Rob Killawee, David A’Bear

            Using your iPad to Tell Your School Story
            What to bring:
            - iPad with iMovie App installed
            - At least 30 short clips (less than 10 seconds each) based on one theme (i.e. school
               goals, play, school culture, parent involvement . . .). Use the movie app (on video)
               in your iPad to make these clips. (If you need any help with any of this, please
               contact your presenters or facilitators any time before the session).



    SESSION #5 - WORDPRESS: DIGGING DEEPER – REFINING YOUR BLOG
    WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30, 2013 – 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. ~ DEC #2020

            We will again touch base with participants to "go deeper" with the blogging
            experience. Perhaps a repeat of breakouts in the previous Wordpress session, but
            then additional topics may be: choosing topics, research, and consistency in your
            blog's look and feel.


    SESSION #6 – CONNECT, CREATE, & SHARE WITH SURREYSCHOOLS.CA
    TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2013 – 3:45 P.M.-5:00 P.M. ~ DEC #2020
