CONTROLLER TOURISTS SERVICES
CONCEPT NOTE
The Tourists Services Laws and procedures required, a set up to
ensure the implementation of these rules and regulations. Currently
there is a nominal office in Peshawar with two planned in Kohat and
Hazara division respectively.
The main role of tourist services wing of its subordinate setup is to
collect revenue and extend the registration to all areas in the region.
Even with a selection structure the office of assistant controller is
generating an amount of over Rs. 12 million per annum.
RATIONALE
The grooming and better capacity building for personnel in tourist
services wing would inculcate qualitative additions to the services in
visa / ticketing / travel agencies / restaurants hotels and motels. The
registration processalso provide first-hand information or occupancy,
room rent, hygiene and all the caring areas where local administration
may also have to involved.
As revenue generation that supports local initiatives and promotes
heritage is a positive trend it requires institutionalization to requite
investment and returns on it.
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK
The thrust of the Tourist Services have to be performance oriented
extended to all divisional headquarters. Subsequently on volume of
revenue and amount of businesses generated the extension into
more demanding districts may be ascertained.
The Provincial Tourism Authority being the main umbrella
organization the tourist services shall be maintaining equilibrium
between required capacity building and asset or motel / hotel
management including its informal forms therein considering
conserved. Places utilization for tourist without depleting their in
ingenuity.
TIME FRAME
The creation of the Tourist Services network may not be more than
six monthly job to create the skeletonorganogram. The lining of fresh
postgraduates through internship may be an omen of opening and its
complete structure be ria place area hear.
PROVINCIAL IMPLICATION
It may require initially one hundred million rupees in first six months
augmented by 5 billion endowment with a billion in providing the
requisite structure. A total of 05 to 15 billion Pakistani rupees is
