2. Cinematography
The cinematography used in the opening of
Inbetweeners is good. For example the director
Expresses the protagonists life as he is being
Bullied by his father. We know this he used
a over the shoulder shot and A L-cut during
the process of the conversation. This will appeal
To the audience as it is not a regular occurance.
The cinematography in this shot is good as it
Makes the Mise-en-scene look noticeable.
For example the typical things we see in
Teenage boys bedroom . They are more
Noticeable due to the close up of the objects
In a stead cam position . This appeals to the
Audience as they can get a brief idea of
What the teenager is in to.
3. Narrative
Unfortunatly , the opening of inbetweeners
movie does not consist of any obvious
narrative codes and techniques. However
there are some. In the opening there is a slight
enigma code. This is what will the boys get up
to on holiday? This will appeal to the audience
as they will be intrigued to watch more.
4. Mise-en-scene
The mise-en-scene in the inbetweeners movie
used multiple times in the opening. For
example when introducing the characters. We
know this as the teen protagonists bedroom
is realistic, such as the Xbox controller, the
porn magazines on the floor. This will appeal
to the audience as we can get a clue to what
the character is like.
5. setting
The setting in inbetweeners is in suburban London. For example some of the hover
Camera. For example the buildings and houses we see are similar to ones we would
See in a suburban area. We know this as the protagonist in the voice over states he
Lives in suburban London. This can link to the audience as they maybe able to relate
To some of the humour, also they can relate to the lifestyle their. This would attract a
Wide proportion of white-british people as they are commonly known to be living in
This area.
6. Sound
The sound we hear through the extract is
diegetic. This is when the sound is natural. We
know this the sounds we interpret are ones
we hear on a regular basis. This can link to the
audience as they can hear more natural
sounds.
