2. Motive:
We decided to go along with
the idea of stereotypical
London yobs to help us think of
many ideas surrounding
teenagers and the burden
surrounding them , we chose to
dress in a way which would
portray ourselves as rebellious
figures , we took a conscious
decision knowing that we
would play the characters in a
way that could perfect the
characters personality .
What actually happened storyline
:
There were numerous shots taken
, each for a particular purpose , we
decided to shot out shots in the
top floor , specifically in the
corridors which leads to a door .
When we were being assigned to
this particular task we were told
prior to it what kind of act we
should shoot , we were told that it
should be a scene including an
conversation , between people ,
the portrayal of someone and to
be shown for a purpose (E.g.: to
show a scene in order to get a
message across ) .
Scene Shot Types :
Our scene includes two girls who are both around the same age
and meet up , the stance of the characters and the proxemics
shows that both people are similar in some ways however in
some ways they are also divided . They could be divided based on
their personalities . The first actress (Faisa ) is seen to be walking
through a door , the camera women ( Kefrane ) uses the 180
degree rule through out the scene . The next scene is Faisa
whom has finally made her way to the fellow character (Hanna) .
However before actress number 2 is shown there Is a shot of
Faisa coming in from one angle and into a door and from another
angle into a door , this is to show the continuation of an
movement to show that there is action happening and Faisa is on
her way to do some thing .
Preliminary
Task
Scripts dialogue and
shots:
The camera then moves on to Hanna whom is shown to be waiting for the first actress,
Faisa . This is shown as the Camera women pans up from Hannah feet which is shown to
be tapping on the floor , this is a plot signifier showing the audience that there is a
matter of impatience . The next scene shows an over head shot of Hannah and her
looking at her watch and her sighing , this also leads to Faisa shown to be coming in and
meting up with Hannah . The distance between Faisa and Hannah has been
intentionally made in order to show how distant and segregated both the characters are
. The dialogue was made in a collaborative way in order for every member of the group
to include an sentence or a basis to make the idea in order to make a sentence . We did
some research and used the research and planning we made earlier and embedded
some of our ideas into the script .The dialogue includes phrases like “fam “, “seasons
change and so do people“ .
