Target Audience.
Who is the target audience for Call Of Duty?:
• The Motion Picture Rating System classes the Call Of Duty series with 18.
• 18 is Suitable only for adults. Nobody younger than 18 may see an '18' film
in a cinema. Nobody younger than 18 may rent or buy an '18' rated video
These films may contain extreme gore/violence and/or sexually explicit
content. Call of duty contains Extreme Gore and violence.
• This was designed to the target audience by providing a near life experience
of how it is in actual wars . The game also includes many extremely violent
scenes which are unsuitable to the younger demographic.

Presumably accurate picture
of audience.
How did the game do?
• Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game grossed over $500
million. It had remained the largest entertainment launch of
all time until September 2013.
• With a production cost of $35 million it made almost 15 times
its production cost.
• Within one week of game release critics named it the game of
the year as it smashed many records and even reaching $1
Billion before the previous call of duty games it was a big
success.
