HR SERVICE AGREEMENT
This HR Service Agreement defines the terms and conditions
under which we provide HR specialist services to a client.
This HR Service Agreement is intended for the purposes of
formally setting up the relationship between YOUR COMPANY
and the CLIENT COMPANY and to provide the foundation for a
healthy business relationship.
This Agreement completes the responsibility for YOUR
COMPANY to ensure the quality, compliance and timeliness of
the output named in this agreement.
HR SERVICES AGREEMENT

HR Service Agreement Objectives

Part A: Prepare a service level agreement and a brief
report
Scenario or background information
Powerhouse Museum CEO and the board have decided to
introduce service
agreements for the different business areas. The HR department
is to
become a service provider to other departments within the
museum. You
are familiar with the HR services requirement for the
organisation and have
been asked to draw up a draft service agreement using the
attached HR
service agreement template. The HR department is now is a
position to be
able to market the HR function for being responsible for
developing,
monitoring and evaluating the organisation’s HR strategy and
developing
policies and services to support the achievement of corporate
goals and to
ensure compliance with employment law and consistency in HR
decision
making. The HR department undertakes a wide range of HR
administration,
training provision and ensures the maintenance of personnel
records in
order for the HRM information is available to managers and
ensures
statutory reporting responsibilities can be met.
Requirements
Prepare a brief report (600 words) of the HR services, service
opportunities,
timelines and performance standards the HR services will
provide to
Powerhouse Museum business and their departments. Develop a
HR Service
Level agreement that clearly articulates the roles and
responsibilities of
each of the parties to this agreement. It should include:

Part B: Develop a Communication plan
You are required to develop a communication plan in relation to
the
implementation of the HR Service Level Agreement, which
outlines the
target audience, key messages, communication methods, who is
responsible, deadline and when completed. Use the
communication
template provided to develop the communication of information
about
human resources strategies and services to internal and external
stakeholders.

• A drafted memorandum to senior staff with facts about the HR
service
agreement and a request for sign off
Part C: Report on Training Plan
A review of staff profiles has shown a decline in attendance at
the annual
mandatory training requirement for workplace health and safety
and fire
training and overall Powerhouse Museum is now non-compliant
with the
applicable legislation.
A qualified service provider of workplace health and safety has
approached
the HR department with a training video in regards to the
compliance with
the Workplace Health and Safety Act and fire training and has
suggested
the training material could be uploaded to the webpage and the
staff could
log on to the system and undertake the training and assessment
online. The
service provider will provide weekly reports on the progress and
the level of
competency for each staff member. Senior management have
approved
your suggestion to utilise the services of this company.

Key focus areas for this section • Communication plan • A drafted memorandum to senior staff with facts about the HR service agreement and a request for sign off Part C: Report on Training Plan A review of staff profiles has shown a decline in attendance at the annual mandatory training requirement for workplace health and safety and fire training and overall Powerhouse Museum is now non-compliant with the

A qualified service provider of workplace health and safety has approached the HR department with a training video in regards to the compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and fire training and has suggested the training material could be uploaded to the webpage and the staff could log on to the system and undertake the training and assessment online. The service provider will provide weekly reports on the progress and the level of competency for each staff member. Senior management have approved your suggestion to utilise the services of this company.
