participants guess what the drawing is meant to be.
3. Whoever guesses correctly draws next.
4. representation.
We will watch six portrayals, three of each faith. There will
be a recap of each clip at the end and some questions to
foster discussion.

the barbarity of Arabs (Agrabah is not directly stated to be
an Islamically-ruled kingdom, but it is implied + original

“traditional” roles in Jewish families
#3: A Muslim character in Quantico weighs in on the
Muslim registry
12. recap.
#4: A humorous moment during a Yom Kippur (Day of
Atonement) service
#5: A woman preparing iftar, addressed togetherness in
Ramadan
#6: A Chasidic man who is inching his community towards
change through modernized music
13. representation.
what to consider:
● What did you see that felt “accurate” to your
experience/understanding as a Muslim/Jewish person?
● Were there portrayals that felt frustrating, “wrong” or
offensive?
● Did you see anything in the clips about your sister faith
that were stereotypes/ideas you have been taught or
exposed to?
● Anything new or positive that you hadn’t seen before?
14. openq&a.
A link to a Google Slides Q&A will be posted in the chat.
Please ask questions about aspects of each other’s faiths.
There is a checkbox you can check to anonymize your

outrightly.
