We have a lot of mouths to feed and it
takes a long time for the frozen
mice/rats to thaw out.

2/11/12 Cleaning the Cages again Use milk gallon containers to

Commentary: with instead of trying to carry
every water bowl full.
Watch to not use the bleach sprayer
instead of water and to use hand
sanitizer after touching each snake just
in case of transferring unwanted
sickness or mites to the other snakes.

Commentary:
My facilitator being a teacher knows
that it is hard to find time when the
students aren’t in the class room for
me to set up. She suggested that I try
and arrive while they were at specials
or lunch; I took her advice and
decided I would set up while they
were at specials.

Made pipe cleaner snakes to put
around the pencils. They look really
cute!

I had to wake up early to prepare the Success!! The kids really

7 Hours I drove to Acworth Elementary
School. Signed in, set up, and began
my presentation. I showed them the
animals, let them touch the more
docile animals, and ask questions.
I think it went very successful.
Commentary:
The kids had great questions. There
was a few that were uneasy about the
animals but later became more
comfortable with them. This made me
feels somewhat accomplished.

All finished with my photobook…get
to the end and the computer tells me it
will be ready on the 25th….well that
won’t work…but wait Walgreens
advertises same day printed photo
books...oh but wait again, only at the
Downtown Canton store…Wonderful!

My Second trip to a different Went a lot faster this
4/11/12 Walgreens time….until they messed up

Commentary:
I finish my photobook for the second
time and they are ready to print it. The
lady tells me not to open it because the
glue is drying but when I get out to
my car I check it out before I leave…
Thank goodness because it was
wrong. The pages repeated in the
middle and were all out of order. The
lady redid it for me immediately, so
another thirty minutes later I finally
had a finished book.
