Performance Reviews for 2017
1) My first goal was for 2017 is Planned Giving Partnership
Aging Reports, most of the RGP’s partners has the outstanding
balance. That was my top priority to resolve this outstanding
balance before 2018, we did resolve some of the partners
outstanding balance. There are few partners who hasn’t make
the payment yet. We are still working to resolve this
outstanding balance ASAP.
2) My second goal was to understand the CTD commitment data
and CTD planned gifts data from ECIS. It took me 3 months to
understand how to compile all the information for commitments
in one spreadsheet. I used to make a lot of mistakes, sometimes
I forgot to update the dates in the spreadsheet and prior month
balance and current month balance too. Now, I understand how
to compile all the information compare to last few months.
3) My third goal was how to create the RGP’s partnership
invoices. For 3Q17 I billed some of the RGP’s partners invoices
little late because I didn’t know which month I have to
processed and send the invoices to the partners for the 3Q17.
For 4Q17 I billed the RGP’s partners invoices on the right time
because of Rich Hensey was reminding me about the invoices
that I have to bill before December. Thanks to Rich!
16. 4) My fourth goal was to understand how to run budget reports
and transactions reports in ONE
Solution
CDD and in Cognos. It took me little time to understand which
reports I can run in Congos and which reports I can’t.
5) My last goal is, I want to complete my master’s program
before 2019 ends. If I complete this goal, then I will have 150
credits to start the CPA preparation.
Here is more information on the performance review process for
2017:
· Final reviews are due by Dec 19th. With fiscal year end
closing, we really need to have this completed in December.
· First, we need to select your 4 or 5 most significant for the
goals for 2017. Then, we need to prioritize them (from most
important), weight the goal’s importance (the weights from all
17. your goals would equal 100%), and provide timelines,
objectives, and impacts. If we take this one step at a time, it
won’t be too hard. Let’s start you and I independently
compiling your 4-5 most significant goals (one should be a
personal development goal) for our first review meeting.
· Then, you would do a “self-evaluation” of the goals, and I
would do an evaluation of your goals. We do this independently
and share results at one of our later review meetings.
· In addition to the “review of goals” there are also other
criteria in the review. I have attached an outline (see “Review
Items” and “MA Core Values”). You can also see this
information on your Paylocity webpage under “Talent”. Again,
each of us would write a few things independently about each of
criteria, too, and compare notes at a later meeting.
· The last part, is formulating your 2018 goals. These will be
the most significant 4-5 things you will be working on in 2018
(including one personal development goal). Again, we need to
establish priorities, weights, timelines, objectives, and
impacts. We will compile a first draft of your 2018 goals at our
first review meeting, too.
I will look at our schedules and set up a few meetings to focus
on this annual review process. THANKS for all your
contributions and all you have learned in your first few months
with MA!
