Where were youbornand tell usabout yourearlychildhood?
I was bornand bredin New Orleans, Louisiana, I was raised by mama who I love and adore so
much. The reason for that is because I learnt through my earlyage that drugs andmoneycould

lost,so I decidedtoreturntoNewOrleans, I went from family to friend’s houses, but on some
nights only the corner stores provided me shelter. But then things got way to hard and so did the
temptation from the other guys to sell drugs was almost too hard to resist. But I knew selling
drugs was my only option. I also looked up to my older brother who was also in the streets with
me but he always hoped a better future for me than the one he had. But it was long till I learned
that my addiction with money could be as deadly as the addictions to drugs. Just few days before
my 18th birthday my brother was gunned down in New Orleans East, which was another
unresolved murder, because people die in streets of New Orleans every day but they were able
to find my brothers murder, which was a shock to me. My brother's death became my motivation
to not become a statistic, but to pursue my musical aspirations on an entirely new level.
So howwere youdiscovered?

Conclusion
While just 21 years old, and already a lifetime of experiences behind him, August is living proof
that your past doesn't have to dictate your future, and that life's hardships can be the motivation
required for success.
