One day, Daisy decided to buy Donald a new hat. “Your hat is so old!” she said.

Donald knew that Daisy was right., so he agreed to go to a a hat shop. As they
went in, Daisy took off his old hat. ‘Hey, what’s going on?” asked Donald. “I’m
taking off your old hat because it’s so ugly.We don’t want the assistant to see you
wearing it, don’t we?” said Daisy. Donald just said, “Er...no,..I mean, you’re
right.We don’t”
In fact, Donald was very fond of his old hat, although he didn’t mind getting a new
one if Daisy paid for it. The trouble was this; There wasn’t any hats in the shop that
Donald liked. He tried many hats, but he felt that all the hats looked silly on him.
The shop assistant was getting tired of serving him., but she took another and
showed it to him. What about this one, sir? I’m sure you’ll like it.” I quite agree! Sid
Donald happily. Do you know why? Because that hat looked exactly the same as his
old one! Poor Daisy, she wasn’t very happy, but she had to pay for that hat. She

The Golden Snail
Dewi Galuh Candra Kirana was a princess from the kingdom of Daha.
She was kind and very beautiful. She was engaged to Raden Inu Kertapati, the
Crown Prince of The Kahuripan kingdom. Raden Inu Kertapati was wise and
very handsome.
Galuh Candra Kirana had a step sister named Galuh Ajeng. Galuh Ajeng was
jealous of her. She wanted to marry Raden Inu Kertapat, she looked a way to
get rid of Galuh Candra Kirana.
Galuh Ajeng went to see an old Witch. The old witch gave her a spell to
curse Galuh Candra Kirana. Before cursing her stepsister Galuh Ajeng
slandered her. The king of Daha believed her words and threw Galuh Candra
Kirana from the palace.
The poor princess lived in misery. She wandered to a beach. There she was
cursed and turned into a golden snail. As the Golden Snail, Galuh Candra
Kirana was drifted by the waves. At last she was washed ashore on a foreign
land.
The golden snail crept to a small village named Dadapan. In that village
lived an old woman named Nyai Dadapan. The old women found The Golden
Snail. “This snail is very beautiful. I will keep it” she said. She brought The
Golden Snail to her hut. Nyai Dadapan put the snail in a big earthen jug.
One day, Nyai Dadapan came home from fishing. She didn’t catch any fish.
But. . . . when she arrived at her hut, she was surprised. Dinner was ready!
“My oh My. . . there is delicious food. What a coincidence! I am hungry!”
without thinking twice, she ate up the food.
After her stomach was full, she realized something, “Who cooked these
foods?” she said. The next morning she thought, I will pretend to go fishing,
but I will hide behind the door and watch. Nyai Dadapan pretended to go.
Then, she secretly hid behind the door. Not long after that, she saw Golden
Snail crept out the big water jug. Suddenly the snail turned into a beautiful girl.
Nyai Dadapan was very happy. She took The Golden Snail as her
daughter.
To make short, until one day The Golden Snail met her prince again and came
back to her palace with Nyai Dadapan.
