The purpose of this report is to know much better what is my profile in learning preferences and what are the way in which I want to take in or give out information.
First of all, it is important to mention that VARK stands for: Visual, aural, read/write, kinesthetic, and it is a questionnaire that provides people with a profile of their learning preference. It is very important to know what your learning style is, because once you know it, it can be used to help you develop additional effective strategies for learning and for improving your communication skills.
The VARK questionnaire results
Your scores were:
Visual: 7
Aural: 4
Read/write: 2
Kinesthetic: 10
I have a mild kinesthetic learning preference.
The mild kinesthetic learning style means that I have a missed combination of learning styles. I am able to learn in different ways, but at the same time I am not that good at read/write are so I need to work on it.
According to mi highest learning preference, which is, Kinesthetic I need to be concentrated in the way of learning that have to deal with the use of the body and visual aids.
The VARK Questionnaire Results : Visual: 7; Aural: 6; Read/Write: 7; Kinesthetic: 6 INTAKE SWOT - Study without tears OUTPUT Visual: 7PictureVideosFlow charts Slides Replace words with symbols or initialsDraw things Use diagramsAural: 4Attend classes Use a tape recorder Put your summarized notes onto tapes and listen to them.Ask others to 'hear' your understanding of a topic.Read your summarized notes aloud.Explain your notes to another 'aural' person.Imagine talking with the examiner.Listen to your voices and write them down.Spend time in quiet places recalling the ideas.Read/write: 2listsheadingsdictionariesTurn reactions, actions, diagrams, charts and flows into words.Imagine your lists arranged in multiplechoice questions and distinguish each from each.Write your lists (a,b,c,d,1,2,3,4).Arrange your words into hierarchies and pointsKinesthetic: 10all your senses - sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing ...laboratoriosField tripsField toursCollections of rock types, plants, shells, grasses...exhibits, samples, photographs...Use pictures and photographs that illustrate an idea.Go back to the laboratory or your lab manual.Recall the experiments, field tripRole plays the exam situation in your own room.
Conclusion
I personally agree with my results because they show the way I really like to learn. As described above I like the learning style when it has to be with role plays, games, thing you have to do with your body etc.
This is a very good way to learn how to know what area you are doing wright and wrong, and in a way it shows you how to improve it. i invite people to take this questionnaire so they will be able to see how to learn faster.
