2. Life Cycle:
Males establish territories and attract females through song and display.
Early spring males begin building nests, females participate. Nests are built in
cavities and can be found in mid-story/canopy levels.
Females typically lay between four and seven eggs at a time
Eggs incubate or hatch 11-13 days later. Both male and female participate in
feeding hatchlings and incubating eggs.
The young leave the nest about 3 weeks later.
