Motivational story
1. Motivational story
I am motivated by materialistic objects, diamonds watches, versace clothes, gold
necklaces, and wealth and power also beautiful women. I love women I can’t help it, especially
the ones with a unibrow. The story I have dates back several years ago when I was 14 years old.
I was young and had a need to belong to a group or norm. My mother always encouraged me to
join sport teams but I was too weak. I was helpless, timid and very shy. I felt people didn’t care
about my personal life, wouldn’t listen to my problems. The solution for my frustrations I
experienced was to become a movie star, the first Persian Brad Pitt. I figured all the terrorist
films that Hollywood wants to produce they can call me. My first fan was my mom she thinks im
very handsome boy, I don’t blame her, however at school my friends didn’t share the same
opinion. They were very jealous, they said because of cultural differences and the way I looked
the white audience would not appreciate my performances. I didn’t fit their version of what a
celebrity should look like. I remind you I was 14 at the time, and I looked uglier back then. My
teacher told me I should start with the Persian community and then when I’m older and more
experienced I do western films. I took my teachers advice and went auditioned for a local
Persian TV station in North Vancouver. They where impressed and asked me to do the weekly
announcements. I thought to my self wow, I’m on television; it was the most gratifying moment
of my life. But after a few months it wasn’t good enough. I wasn’t motivated anymore because I
wanted to become a famous movie star. I wanted to quit, but god had different plans for me.
2. As the camera was rolling I started to make some jokes, I didn’t notice the camera was on, I was
just being silly, the jokester around the set. The next day the editor called me to view the tape; I
thought I was in trouble. He told me what he saw was star material and that I have a future in
bollywood. I told him what my motivation was in life and he said to audition for IPN. IPN is one
of the biggest Persian satellite channels in the world. There office was also in North Vancouver,
I went and auditioned they were not impressed. But I wasn’t going to give up, I told myself ,this
is my dream , and I am the only person that could open the path to stardom . The next week I
went back and pleaded with the director and asked him to reconsider. after long talks the
director said that I should make comedy skits similar to mad TV and Saturday night live and
send it in ,the studio will take a look at it edit it, and then air it on IPN. So I send my tapes, I did
the writing, acting, and my sister helped with the camera and makeup. We send in the tapes
and waited if they liked the humour, before you knew it the show was aired on IPN and was
called “Wandi” my character was Shamsi der kardti, an Indian immigrant. People start calling
from Vancouver, Los Angeles and back home in my country Iran asking who the new Persian
superstar. Girls from the Persian community were finally noticing me, I was so happy because I
wanted the spotlight and fame. After 2 years of acting, my dreams of being famous came true. I
wasn’t shy or timid no more; people started listening to what I had to say. I retired from the
spotlight when I was 16 years old; due to the reason IPN studio did not pay me to cover the
expenses of the show’s productions. I was this famous actor that was broke and taken
advantage of. The studio made thousands of dollars from my mini shows, im 22 years old now
and my shows are still rerunned!!! I was so frustrated because the studio claimed since there
3. was no legal contract between the 2 parties I could not sue them. I wanted to be famous and
rich but only one of them were accomplished.
