Intermedia, a firm based in Washington D.C. with experience evaluating programs in developing countries, was selected to evaluate the P4L YES program. The evaluation aims to show how students' attitudes and behaviors change after participating in the YES program by collecting data before, during, and after the program. Focus groups found that students developed greater independence and tolerance, gained a deeper understanding of both the U.S. and their home countries, and experienced significant personal growth and leadership development from their experiences in the United States.

10. Summary The focus group findings this year were similar to last year’s.
