Whenwe got to season3 of the webserieswe decidedtochange thingsupandincorporate a different
vibe andlearningaswe workedwith Guide Dogsof the Desert.We showcasedmore peopleotherthan
Matt, myself,andPatrickthe puppywe were raising.We hadone episode focusedonpuppyraisersand
interviewedthemanditturnedoutamazing.We alsodidan episode wherewe interviewedpeoplewith
invisible disabilities.Thatwasa game changerfor us, we learnedjustasmuchas ourviewersandmade
us realize thatwe couldeducate peopleonmuchmore than justraisinga guide dogpuppy.There were
manyother typesof service dogsthata lot of people hadnoideaexisted.Therewere other
organizations thatwe couldtalkaboutand introducedthatownertrainerscouldalsoproduce amazing
service dogs.There were manyothertopicsandissuesthatwe couldhelpshedlighton.

Thingsdidn’tgoas we had plannedduringseason3of our web seriesandwe considerednot
continuing.We didtake a fewmonthstoregroupand decidedthatwe wouldcontinue,butittookus
awhile tofigure whatnewdirectionwe shouldgo.Duringthe lastfew yearsothershave alsodecidedto
do projectssimilarto ours.While we are happythat those projectshave beensuccessful we still see a

2. lotof areasthat needto be addressed.Some thingshave evolvedinapositive wayandsome things
have evolvedinanegative way.We wanttocontinue toeducate and implement solutionsthataddress
evolvingissuesregardingservicedogs.
Respectedpeople inthe service dogcommunityhave beenintroducedtoournew conceptsand theyare
givingusgreat input.Thingsare at the veryearlydevelopmentphase.We have beeninterviewing
service dogvolunteers,organizationexecutives,service dogusers,andservice dograiserstogettheir
feedbackonwhatwe are creating.Sofar we are gettinggreatfeedbackandpeople seemexcitedabout
whatwe are workingon.I can’t waitto share more as thingsdevelop.
Probablythe biggestgiftforme fromthe last tenyearsisthe relationshipsthatIhave made.Because we
createdthe webseriesandnonprofitI have beenintroducedtopeopleIprobablyneverwouldhave
crossedpathswith.The friendshipsare veryreal.The thingsIhave learnedfromotherpeople have been
amazing.The respectI have forotherpeople inthe service dogcommunityhasgreatlyincreased. Thisis
somethingthatIwon’teverforget.
Matt andI are not expertsoneverythingthatwe are tryingto introduce,teachandaccomplish.Our
audience hasbeenbroughtalongonthe ride of a lifetime aswe continue tolearnandshare whatwe
are experiencing.Thisisaconceptthat we can’t waitto continue.There issomuch more for usto learn
and therefore;somuchmore forus to share.The last tenyearshas beena life changingexperiencefor
