Peter Wharton reviewed the past year at Natural Infrastructure Consultants in March 2020. Some highlights included completing the Woodland project and obtaining a protected species license. Challenges included adjusting to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Goals for 2020-21 included improving delivery efficiency, increasing marketing efforts, retaining staff through the pandemic, and introducing new company benefits.

11. She’s been a
fantastic asset to
the admin team
Jack – he’s always there
to help out if you need
something
Jack, for doubling
up as in-house IT
Support!
Chloe – wanting to always
help where she can, no
matter what
Despite his pedantic
pants, he’s always
willing to help out
members of the team
Chloe stands out for me,
particularly over the past few
months where she has
adapted to her new role really
well.

13. Lauren for her

Lozza
Lauren, she makes me
laugh haha.
This one definitely gets the
“weirdest award” award! I
suppose Lozza for her
never-ending
entertainment value.
Lauren for her continuation
of small talk.
Lozza is always keeping us
entertained (and I’m guessing I
can’t vote for JoJo?)

me and learnt to answer me
back.Matt Wall
Matt – could it really be
anyone else! Always
helping me out and has the
ass of a Greek god
Matt – for his positive support of
business, staff and clients.
Matt – he works harder than
anyone I’ve ever met (possibly
a little too hard sometimes).
He’s so dedicated to WNIC
and a great manager and
ecologist 😊

17. One thing to change… As much as I can’t wait for things to get
back to normal and being able to be
back in the office with everyone
It would be us all having lunch
together probably
The director is a bit of a nob,
might want to look for a
replacement 😂 😂
Be nice to be able to come back
to the office….
I feel that more team building
days and CPD sessions should
be considered to keep everyone
up to date with industry
standards and legislation.
I feel as though our core working day of
8:30-5:30 (9hrs) is really long in comparison
with other businesses and that we could
be more productive if this was shortened
to 8:30-5.
More team days or activities
because of the separation in the
office
In house topo
More larger scale projects
Where eco and arb are working
on projects I think issuing an
internal draft report for review
to the other team
Consistent reporting and use of
systems.
Company to endorse having
birthdays off (Friday/Monday if
it falls on a weekend)

company benefits
