Empathy map and problem statement
SAY
SAY:
-The level of knowledge is too different between the
graduates of different universities
-The traditional path from education to employment is
not necessary the way to success
-Universities don´t indentify the market necessities
-There are a lot of unemployed professional
-Universities are too busy making Money, they only
listen to what the kids want to be (they pay the tuitions)
and don’t listen to the employment market
- Universities don’t care about the future of the
graduates
DO:
The person used his computer and made some
searches to look for some statistics about the
number of new graduates every year, in his field
He was showing sadness and concern when
talking about new graduates looking for a job
THINK:
-He was weighing up the model:
study – graduate- get a job, for the
first time, until that moment he
thought that was the sure recipe
FEEL:
-The person was worried
-He was confused about his own ideas
-He was concerned
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• The employer is an enterprising entrepreneur
that feels the educational system doesn’t take
in consideration the employment market to
form the students to be successful in getting a
good job
