EMPATHY MAP
Problem/ need with a school-to-work
transition
• SAY
– It is hard to find the time to see all of the open positions
– Some positions are described too broad
– When i am searching for open positions I loose a lot of time
– Some job search engines do not offer entry level jobs
– Most search engines do not show me the jobs that would interest me
– Newspaper ads for open positions are rare
– Newspaper ads for open positions are not interesting
– Newspaper ads for open positions are not for my entry level
– I can not find the right job that would interest me with a few klicks
– I would like to have a possibility where ii could click my interest and experiences so I can get
offers perfect for my studies
– I would like to know how much the wage would be
– What do they need from me, when I want to apply?
– Some ads in newspapers are confusing, they all look so different
– Search engines are a good choice for me, but sometimes too complicated

– That the search for a job should be open (all
information should be shown) so that itr would be
gender equal
– That there should be easier ways to find a job
nowadays
– Wonders why there is no connection between peeple
today, also in the Internet/ social network area
– Believes that she as a person with her interests should
count as well
– That the newspaper style is out of fashion but the IT
style is confusing

– Lost with all the information, I can not find the right
filters
– Unhappy with the possible position, not enough
options
– Unsatisfied with the arrangements of information
– Confused wth all the different buttons
– Angry because it all goes the IT way nowaadays
– Sad that there is not any more about her interests
– Feels alone because the connections to others is lost
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• A young (for this education level), goal-
oriented, ambitious, not- internet/IT savvy
female student needs an easy usable, fast and
secure way to find open positions that fit
perfect to her interests and experiences.
