INSIGHTS: In general
- Students are often unsure where they will fit in the professional setting with the degree they have
- Most are eager to graduate, yet, at the same time, are uncertain about future due to conditions of job market
- Many feel what is learned in one specific field cannot be applied to all the professions for example, a degree in
international relations is not suitable for an audit firm
- More interaction with employers is required in order to understand the professional environment and the skills that
employers look for in the candidates
- Opportunities should be developed in collaboration with the university in order to have more exposure to the job
environment.
