Prayer and the Bible <ul><li>There are over 650 prayers recorded in the Bible and there are over 450 recorded answers. </li></ul><ul><li>Prayers ranges from asking , interceding , confessing , thanksgiving , worship , and simply being in the presence of God. </li></ul><ul><li>These are prayers prayed by ordinary people to their extra-ordinary God </li></ul>
  3. 3. The Lord’s Prayer (Mt. 6:9-15) <ul><li>Our Father in heaven,  hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. </li></ul>
