About the application:
• Loan System - Second Generation henceforth Loan IQ is a Commercial Lending software product from
Misys which enables global financial institutions and corporate to manage the entire lifecycle of a loan,
from origination and deal tracking to administration and record maintenance.
• LOAN IQ provides real time, on-line access to a single source of information allowing the user to
integrate the activities of every commercial and syndicated lending function and provide for Straight
through Processing.

• Origination: LOAN IQ captures customer and deal information and tracks it through the life of the deal.
Prospect, customer and credit agreements can easily be reviewed on demand
• Sales and Trading: LOAN IQ streamlines the management and distribution of bank originated loans, and
loans purchased on the secondary market. Call tracking, sales prospecting, syndication, commitment
sales and P&L activity is available in real time.
• Loan Servicing: LOAN IQ provides full support for agency processing, as well as loan administration,
monitoring all loan payments and receipts, accruals and fees for all borrowers and lenders in the deal.
Complex matrix pricing formulas and calculations are supported.
• Portfolio Management: Supports risk analysis and asset valuation allowing the bank to support trend
analysis, highlight asset concentrations, and identify assets for sale.

As a Technical member, I am responsible for:
• Responsible for providing the support in L1/L2 level depending on the Priority of the issues to meet
client’s SLA.
• Extracting adhoc reports to Client Service Representatives from database using SQL/PLSQL.
• Part of the GPS-Client-Technology team, which deals with generation of hedge fund reports using
various tools like control-M and various technologies like UNIX, Shell scripting and SQL/PLSQL.
• As the reports are divided into three geographical domains(APAC,UK and US) and various functional
batches, making sure that there is a complete synchronization between the feeds from various upstream
systems and escalating to the required teams in case need arises.
• Managing daily, weekly and monthly systems check list. Monitoring Log files and log information.
Monitoring the production server.
• Key role in Release Management. In case of Code fix, responsible for Creating the RFC. Released scripts
in production liaising with development team. Involved with Change Management in Change Advisory
Board (CAB) meetings before releases and planned activities to reduce impact on production before
changes.
• After the generation of the reports ensuring the availability of the same on the Global Prime website by
ensuring high availability of the various applications.
A Seven-member team is involved in providing support, maintenance, modifications and automation of various
