1. Pnoys ‘SONA”- truly loves the future Filipinos?!
(MY BAD IMPRESSION ON SONA)
As of yesterday at Pnoys SONA, he tackled about so many things regarding to the projects that
his administration had made. For almost four years of his six years term as a president, he did
really a very sincere job (as focused on Pnoys SONA). I’m so very impressed on the things he
told us yesterday, to the different branches of the government that he really made sure to do
their job well. On this SONA, I had just 5 “bad” concerns of the Filipino citizen.
First is the Pantawid Pampamilyang Pilipino Program, my family is a member of this said
program that as what he had said yesterday was a successful one but as of this date, my family
doesn’t receive anything yet. Does this means that it’s not yet successful for it doesn’t
supplement the needy, it’s not just for my family that doesn’t receive anything but also for the
families which their needs is worse than ours. Boss, Really? The project as we think of it is great,
but how about the implementation of it? Ow c’mon, we are blinded of promises that June will
be the start of this said program, and now again was moved to the end of this month? May I ask
this, “How long will it take for the deserving to receive it?” –forever is not enough (Pnoys

Pantawid Pampamilyang Pilipino Program was started and seemingly moving all odds that’s
why he does have high trust ratings in pulse Asia survey. Where that pulse Asia did got that
response? Are they out of their minds? Well, is it just me who knows this or what? Come on
guys, don’t be blind!
Second, is he’s always stating the good news about the things he made for the students, for the
youth, for the Filipinos, for the ones he calls boss. But it’s still the same,nothing changes, but
wait I’m wrong! There’s really a change, not only having higher rate of criminalities in metro
manila, how can we never distinguish the higher prices of basic commodities. He’s so fund of
good news. Please PNOY, were done with that!Face the real problems, the things that poor
ones know and experiencing.
Third among of all the concern ishe did state the pork barrel controversy. Concerning to all the
senators and congressmen who made some ghost projects,they’re not dummies ok! The
dummies were the ones who will go to investigate this thing!
Fourth is another upcoming public transportation hike, we all know that when this happens all
of basic commodities will have its price hike also. I just want him to realize that this generation

2. needs the care, if he will not care for us how hypocrite of him saying this is for the next
generation!?
Lastly, The SONA is supposed to expound on achievements, not to lash out as incompetent
executives. If Pnoy can't hack his underlings, he should fire them. He simply has no managerial
or leadership skills. He should fire himself for just going in favor to his political friends. Every
Filipino already knows why our country didn't prosper for long years is because of corruption.
While our neighboring country for so many years experienced and enjoy the fruits of being
prosperous, here in our country the people still live in extreme poverty with no homes and
sometimes no food on the table. Why this happen to us because of corruption. Pnoy please Do
make a corrupt free Philippines and you can see how great fun in the Philippines.
TRANSPARENCY IN SERVICE NOT CONSPERACY!
(THE GOOD SIDE)
Before I enter college, we havethese 2010 national elections. By then I’m so unto Mr.Noynoy
to be our president. At that time I’m so hopeful that he will be a good leader of so corrupt and
poor country (Philippines).
In his 2013 sona that held yesterday, I’m so impressed! I really clapped at every pause of his
speech. I’m right! He’s the one that our country needed. To all the controversy that he just
trespassedby all of his good deeds. The problems were just on the implementation of his soulful
programs. I really love to know that he’ll be going to add up the volumes of people who’ll going
to have his programs.
The highlights of his speech in the TV were always debatable. They’re always focusing on what
will be the bad thing that Pnoy might say. I pity them because as I watched his sona it turns out
that most of the anti Pnoy administration had been embarrassed. Pnoy made them realize the
administration is worthy for the “boss’s” trust.

3. What parts of the speech I like the most and why?
Noon pa man, mulat po ako sa tindi ng mga problemang aking kakaharapin. Mula sa pagiging
kandidato, o Presidente na, o kahit ba matapos pang makababa sa puwesto, hindi biro ang
peligrong kakambal ng trabahong ito. Malawakang transpormasyon ng lipunan ang aking
hangarin, at mulat akong marami akong kailangang banggain para matupad ito. Pero hindi po
ako pinalaki ng aking mga magulang para tumiklop lamang sa mga hamon. Hindi ko mahaharap
ang aking sarili kung tinanggihan ko ang pagkakataong bawasan ang pagdurusang di naman
dapat dinaraanan ng Pilipino.
→ He’s so honest saying that it will be hard for him and for any other president to be the one
responsible for the country. It is really hard right? Because of the entire idiotic act made by ex-
president Gloria and he’s the one who’s going to inherit it? To think the problems packaged
together to those who bagged the position. It’s hard, really hard but we really feel his concerns
that are why at the very beginning he has a good positive rating and still maintaining it.
Heto pa po ang isang halimbawa ng pag-iisip sa gobyerno na kinailangan nating baguhin: Bumili
ng walong combat utility helicopter, para daw sa mabilisang pagbiyahe ng ating mga sundalo.
Ang problema: Sukat ba naman pong naka-mount ang baril sa may pintuan, at kailangang
tanggalin kung may dadaan. Kung lalapag ka habang nagbabakbakan, ano ang silbi ng machine
gun na nakatabi at hindi mapaputok? Wala bang nakaisip nito bago magkapirmahan ng
kontrata? Bakit naman po pinayagang mangyari ito?
→he condemned without hesitation the things that are really stating the corruption. Even
though he knows that some of his political friends will get hurt because of this statement he did
just said it and take note he said it in front of us. This statement really made me happy because
it’s as if saying that “your money was wasted because of these persons and they must be
condemned I’ll guarantee that!”
Hindi yata nila alam na ang isang fighter jet na nagkakahalaga ng 1.58 bilyong piso, ay katumbas
ng 6,580 na bahay para sa mga pulis at sundalo, o halos 2,000 na silid-aralan para sa mga
kabataan.
→He really care for us. He knows the limitations of our country and still find ways to resolve the
problem concerning to our armed forces. He’s considering the things that we really need.
Simple philosophy, butthis is really the problem of our country ever since.
To solve the simple problems that made worse by our ex-presidents.

4. SA loob nga po ng tatlongtaon, pinatunayannatingangmgaahensyangdati'ypugad ng kurapsyon
ay maaaring maging ehemplo ng tapat at epektibong paglilingkod. Ilan po sa mga simple
ngunitepektibongpagbabagongisinagawani Secretary Singson sa DPWH: Walanang letter of
intent, naginagamit ng mga bidder paramagkuntsabahan; pinasimple ang proseso ng bidding,
kaya mas marami nang nagkukumpitensya para sa proyekto, at mas sulit na ang presyong
nakukuha ng gobyerno. Nasa oras na ring magbayad ang gobyerno, kaya mas nae-engganyo ang
mahuhusay na contractor na makiambag sa pagtatayo ng pambansang imprastruktura. Dahil sa
tapatna pamamahala, 18.4 billion pesos naangnatitipid ng DPWH, naInilalaan Para sa iba pang
makabuluhangproyekto.
→This just proves that he’s the one leading us to the right path, he’s the right president of the
Philippines.I really admire his leadership because for me the most important in a leader, is
someone we can trust.

→He did condemn the branches of the government who fails to do their work. He really wants
our country to grow, to be one of the tiger economies in Asia. He’s so disappointed to the
Bureau of Immigration who let the siblings Joel at Mario Reyes leaves the country. And many
other branches that made some idiotic mistakes that corruption and illegal money was
involved.

→He wants transformation not only to the system but also to every Filipino politician to be one
of well-respected politician like Jesse Robredo. It’s not the president who must be condemned
for the nation’s problems. It’s the system, it’s the politician, and maybe it’s us!

5. May puwang pa baparasa mga agam-agam? Ngayonpa bangnatutupadnaang mga dating
nihindinatinmagawangpangarapin, ngayon pa bang nakausadnatayo, at abot-kamaynaangating
mga hangarin - Boss, ngayon pa batayomagdududa?
→no, I don’t have any doubt for his consistency, for his heart and soul at his service. Of all the
things I said at the start were the bashers were thinking but I just want to say this ‘we are so
lucky to have him, we are on the right path and with him we can solve the biggest problem
because our biggest problem is CORRUPTION!
Sinabi po sa akin dati: Noynoy, simulanmo lang. Sinimulan nga po natin, at ngayon, kitang-
kitanaanglayo ng atingnarating. Ngayon, Pilipino, ituloynatinangpagkakapit-bisig,
sabaynatingarugain, pabilisin, at palawakinangtranspormasyon ng lipunan. Ako po si Noynoy
Aquino; ipinagmamalakiko sa buongmundo: Pilipino ako. Napakasarapmaging Pilipino sa
panahong ito.
→As of today, my view about Pnoy’s SONA is “it’s not deceiving us, it is the reality behind the so
many problems were facing. We are so into changing, we are changing, although of having price
hike among basic commodities, I’m still into it. Because it’s our way to change for the better,
it’s the way we can be part of a new growing country. Change is not bad, if we change for the
better. As of this date, I’m so happy and proud to be a Filipino citizen!
