1. Performances The performances would only be sinning with possibly an introduction to the song. It would be very comedic to entertain the audience. The noise of people drinking and eating in there must have been so loud that the singer would have trouble being heard. Music Hall Analysis In these two photos, it shows what it was like in the 1800’s music halls. As you can see, people on the ground floor sat around tables; as they ate and drank, the performances would commence. It was a very grand affaire. The architecture in the hall was amazing and everybody would dress in there finest cloths. The upper class people would sit in the upper seating to the sides and the slightly lower classes would sit on the lower part. The really poor people would not be at an event like this as they would not have enough money for it. The actors would dress very extravagantly, trying to draw the attention of the audience with there dresses and suits. The whole event was more of a socialising occasion. The performances where sometimes just there to have a bit of music whilst the people talked and cached up with one another
