2. Summary…
We brainstormed together to discuss different
ideas that we could use for our documentary
topic.
We took pictures of our inspiration for our ideas
and posted these on our blog, along with the
strengths and weaknesses of each topic to make
a final decision.
We chose our final topic – Social media on
education – this had the least disadvantages and
we felt we could relate to this most, benefitting our
research and planning.
3. Strengths
We worked effectively as a group and came up
with a wide number of ideas. We also all got
inspired by several things meaning our range of
ideas was also wide.
We communicated together to eliminate all but
one of our ideas.
Different software was used during this – Prezi,
meaning we gained more creative skills and more
knowledge into the different uses of this software.
4. Weaknesses/areas to improve
Despite our strengths, we have an area where
we could improve.
Instead of just placing the pictures of our
inspiration on a post, we could have further
used our knowledge of different types of
software and presented the pictures in a more
exciting way.
5. What to do next…
The next stage of planning will be audience
research.
We plan to use questionnaires and focus
groups to find out what will attract our
intended audience so that our documentary
will include elements that they’ll be interested
in.
