Food technology is concerned with the process of
getting food from the farm to the supermarket.
Food technologists work to ensure the quality
and safety of food products and also to improve
manufacturing methods through preservation,
storage and new product development. They
work with food scientists to enhance the
nutritional value of foods.

3. Many people think of pumpkins as
little more than a Halloween
decoration or a Thanksgiving pie
filling...BUT THE BENEFITS OF
EATING PUMPKINS ARE
IMPRESSIVE!

5. SO, combining Science and Technology...
Find some pumpkin recipes, choose one of them and make your
own delicious dessert to share at your school.
You will have to send us the recipe and make a video to show that
you are the cook.
The teachers will make a recipe book with all the pupils works.
