Why? How? Results?
My Student’s
S I plan to teach high school students.
S All genders, nationalities, and learning styles
S I plan to teach higher level like AP students.
S Short tensions spans, do not take in large amounts of
info.
S Interactive and fascinating lessons necessary.
S Variety of platforms.
Objective
S My student will obtain the basic knowledge of the
revolutionary war such as reasons for the war, how we
won, and the results of the war through lectures, videos,
and learning activities with a 85% accuracy.
Day Plans
S Monday- Introduction to topic. Main events leading up to
the war.
S Tuesday- Pivotal players in the war and their roles.
S Wednesday- Game changing battles and why they
mattered.
S Thursday-Winding down of the war. American differing
strategy.
S Friday- End of war. Results of the war.
Use of Technology
S Animated videos of troop movements during battles
S Clip from “The Patriot”
S Read blogs of park ranger of Bunker Hill national park.
S Create twitter page for hero from Revolution war.
