Magnificent Gia Long Tomb
Gia Long Tomb is also called “Thien Tho,” which means stable with the time, is the tomb of the first King in Nguyen Dynasty (1762-1820). It was built from 1814 to 1820 in the complex of Thien Tho mountains, Huong Tra, Hue province. With the total area of 11.000 square meter, the tomb faces the largest mountain in Thien Tho complex, and has fourteen small mountains in each side. As Feng Shui, the tomb has one of the most valuable places for the king with “left has Green Dragon, right has White Tiger,” the tomb of the King and Queen has cool and peaceful environment even in the hottest days of Hue.

Ancient Minh Mang Tomb
Locates of Cam Khe Mountain, near the bout 12 kilometers from the center of Hue city, Minh Mang Tomb is the rest place of the second king. Ming Mang Tomb is also called Hieu Tomb, “Hieu” means “love and have responsibility to take care of parents.”
Was built from 1840 to 1843, the tomb has total area of 26 hectares, is a complex of buildings include 40 constructions on a place with hills, mountains, river and lake. The tomb has three gates: Dai Hong Mon (the gate was opened to deliver the body of Minh Mang King and then closed forever), and two smaller gates on the left and right sides. Through Dai Hong Mon gate, there is a big courtyard with the two series of stone statuses of the mandarins, elephants and horses.

Romance Tu Duc Tomb
Locates in a small valley in Thuong Ba village, Thuy Xuan Commune, Tu Duc Tomb (also called as Khiem Tomb – means the tomb of humility) was constructed on the area of 475 hectares. Nearly 50 constructions in the two parts of the tomb have “Khiem” on their name. All of the carving and design show their soft and free styles, which reflect the generous and romance of Tu Duc King. Tu Duc King was an poet and he had a great attention to the arts, so this place had been designed as a park with a big lake, pine forest and many places for the king took a rest, read book, wrote poems… Specially, in the left of Luong Khiem palace, there is Minh Khiem theater – the oldest theater of Vietnam.
