Mobility period: 7 months (23.08.2020-
27.03.2021)
Place: Funchal, Madeira (Portugal)
Main objectives:
- providing guided tours of the city for the tourists
- supporting the Students Union of the University
of Madeira in various actions
- assisiting visitors of the Jesuits College at the
help desk
- helping at the university shop ‘Gaudeamus’
- promotional videos and actions
- writing and publishing blog posts
- reforestation activities at the Ecological Park of
Funchal
4. Safety first! During the global
pandemic, I learned and
strictly followed the safety
rules, such as measuring the
temperature of every visitor.
5. Training time
Before becoming a
tour guide, I was
learning a lot about
the history of Funchal.
After passing the
exam, I could start
delivering the tours
myself!
6. My tour ‘In the heart of the
city’ included all of the most
important historical buildings
in the old part of Funchal.
