4. Strive for
• Mark. 12:30 “And you shall love the LORD your God with all
your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with
all your strength.' This is the first commandment. ”
• Mark. 12:31 “And the second, like it, is this: "You shall love
your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other
commandment greater than these." ”

5. Don't commit a crime intentionally
• Heb. 10:26 “For if we sin willfully after we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there no
longer remains a sacrifice for sins,”

ways, because of whom the way of truth will be
blasphemed.”
• James. 4:4 “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you
not know that friendship with the world is enmity
with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a
friend of the world makes himself an enemy of
God.”

6. Examine yourselves
as to whether you are in the faith
• 1Cor. 10:12 “Therefore let him who thinks he
stands take heed lest he fall.”
• 2Cor. 13:5 “Examine yourselves as to whether
you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you
not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in
you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.”

7. Blame/discipline
• Proverbs 15:31 Whoever heeds life-giving
correction will be at home among the wise.
• Proverbs 3:12 because the Lord disciplines
those he loves, as a father the son he delights
in.
• Heb. 12:6 “For whom the LORD loves He
chastens, And scourges every son whom He
receives."”

8. Keep on preaching

hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.
• 2Tim. 4:2 “Preach the word! Be ready in season and
out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all
longsuffering and teaching.”

9. The breadth and depth of love

• Phil. 1:9 “And this I pray, that your love may
abound still more and more in knowledge and
all discernment,”

10. God gives wisdom and knowledge and
joy to a man who is good in His sight
• 3John. 4 “I have no greater joy than to hear
that my children walk in truth.”
• Ecclesiastes 2:26 26 For God gives wisdom and
knowledge and joy to a man who is good in
His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work
of gathering and collecting, that he may give
to him who is good before God. This also is
vanity and grasping for the wind.
