    3. 3. Gen X • Generation X, or Gen X, is the generation born after the Western Post–World War II baby boom. Demographers, historians and commentators use beginning birth dates from the early 1960s to the early 1980s.

    5. 5. Gen X and mobile • Gen-Xers are 16% more likely to own a tablet than the average adult consume • 95% use mobile phones • 60.3% of the latter group use smartphones • In 2012 62.2% of Gen X mobile users, used the mobile internet at least monthly

    7. 7. Gen Y • Millennials, or the Millennial Generation, also known as Generation Y, are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates when the generation starts and ends. Commentators use beginning birth years from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.

    12. 12. Gen Z • Generation Z is one name used for the cohort of people born after the Millennial Generation. This is the generation which is currently being born

Gen Z • Gen Zs were born in the early to mid 1990s though 2010 • The Internet, technology, war, terrorism, the recession, and social media shape their lives • Gen Zs are tech savvy • They are bright, and their IQ scores are higher than previous generations • Social media has connected them globally to their peers • The internet has connection them globally to knowledge • They are accepting of diverse populations Gen Z are always connected in a seamless cloud-based world of friends, data, and entertainment
