is the main mathematical idea/concept they should
know?
D. What evidence of learning will you be looking for
from your students? How will you know your
teaching was successful? What will the students be
able to do?
E. What processing questions have you prepared to
ask students when they have completed the
investigations?
F. What visuals, materials, manipulative,
explanations, and models may be necessary? How,
when, and where will they be used to support the
lesson? What is your rationale for using them?
G. What relevant prior knowledge must student’s
posses to do this work? What knowledge previous
lessons does this activity build on? Which concepts
will be extended and deepened?
H. What confusions and misconception related to
concepts, problem solving, reasoning strategies and
skills do you anticipate? What
strategies/interventions, will you have in place?
