• From a part of a hadith related by Abu
Hurairah r.a., that Rasulullah s.a.w. said:
• “…Whosoever follows a path seeking
knowledge, Allah will make his path to
Paradise easy.
• A people will not gather in a House from
the Houses of Allah,
• Reciting the book of Allah,
7. • And studying it amongst themselves,
• Except that the angels will descend onto
them,
• And Mercy will envelop them,
• And the angels will surround them,
• And Allah will mention them to those who
are with Him…”
• (Related in Sahih Muslim)
8. Relationship with the Quran
• Why do people have very different
experiences from the Quran?
• Imaam Ibnu Qayyim said that the main
factor here is basically the Heart.
• It only warns those whose hearts are alive,
those with taqwa (a fear and awareness of
God)
9. How do we benefit more from
the Quran
• Repent often
– Removes the veils between yourself and Allah
– Knowledge is a light, and the light from Allah
will never sit in the heart of the unrepentant

remind you of realities of life
• Train the nafs to fight desires

spiritually
