Who Makes the Cut?
Four individuals staying:
Person: Pregnant lady with the five year old girl
Reason: This lady can obviously reproduce and help the world repopulate. She can also help
make food in the greenhouse for everyone to live off of.
Person: Doctor (male)
Reason: This man can help the pregnant lady give birth to her unborn child and also become her
spouse as well so they can repopulate. He will also be helpful with nursing people back to health
in case they get sick.
Person: Old Lady
Reason: This lady can help with taking care of the children while the mother is out working in
the greenhouse and she can also help with any problems that may arise because she is old and
wise.
Person: Scientist (male)
Reason: He will provide insight on how to keep growing food for everyone.
2. Sacrificed individuals:
Person: Lazy welfare independent
Reason: There is no room for lazy people, because there is way too much to be done.
Person: Priest
Reason: Priests are catholic and if we were going to keep a religious affiliated person, it should
be non-denominational. The people surviving will already have their opinions on that as is.
Person: Married couple who are hippies and drug addicts
Reason: They will be no help, because they will just want to get high all the time.
Person: University Professor
Reason: This person was sacrificed because others would be more useful in rebuilding the new
world. Although this person is obviously intelligent, we needed other aspects as well.
Person: Army officer
Reason: He already had issues so we don’t want to start the new world out with someone that is
having issues as is.
Person: Lawyer
Reason: We don’t really need someone to argue.
Person: Disabled Person
3. Reason: This person would be hard to take care of and not much use to being productive.
