4. Obstacles in a workplace that prevent
effective exchange of ideas or thoughts.
Such barriers include:

5. Status difference
Status refers to the relative rank or standing that an individual have
in the eyes of others.
Gender difference
Culturally and socially constructed difference between men and
women that varies from place to place and time to time.
Culture difference
Body language is an important part of how people communicate and
there are differences from culture to culture. Hand and arm gestures,
touch, and eye contact are a few of the aspects of body language.

6. Prejudice
Prejudice is an act of excluding of disliking someone or something
because they belong to a particular group.
Organizational environments
Organizational environments are composed of forces or institutions
surrounding an organization that affect performance, operations, and
resources.
