1. Our country is located in southeastern
Europe. Greece's population is
approximately 10.955 million.
Capital and largest city is Athens.
2. We live in Kato Achaia, a town with 7.000
inhabitants in western Greece.
Kato Achaia is located 20 km far from
Patras, the third biggest town in Greece.

4. In the west of the town there is the
Strofylia forest with rare flora and
fauna and also Kalogria beach with
clear blue waters and big sandhills.
Strofylia forest is the most
extensive pine forest across
Greece and one of the largest in
Europe.

people everyday and
they are very well

Locums Mavrodaphne
Olive oil is one of
the most
important
agricultural
products of the
Greek economy,
of particular
dietary and
economic
importance for
the region of
Achaia.
Served with Greek
coffee and cold
water. Locums are
an integral part of
Greek tradition.
Tsipouro is distilled
from the remainders
of grapes left after
pressing and the
extraction of must
for wine production.
This is a local wine
produced by a black
Greek grape variety
grown in the
northwestern
Peloponnese.
