3. • Our High School is in Archidona, a city in Málaga, one of the provinces of Andalusia, in the south of Spain.

5. We are also very lucky because the weather here is wonderful
We are very near the seaside, the snow in Sierra Nevada (Granada)
and many cites with important historical sites.

lies to the upper
side of the city,
surrounded by
vegetation and,
of course olive
trees !

8. We are 379 students ( aged between 12 and 18) and 42
teachers. There are 15 Departments and about 20 classrooms
and two workshops.

Biology laboratories.

21. We are also very proud of our small but
well cared for Library.

27. Ours is a Secondary Education School, but
we also offer Vocational Training,
specializing in motorization and electricity.

from 8:15 a.m. to
2:45 p.m.

37. From 11:15 to 11:45
p.m. we take a little
break to have a
snack.The typical
snack here in
Archidona is the so
called mollete de
jamón. It is made of
toasted bread ,
tomato, olive oil and
ham.

38. The school works with ICT
and teachers and students are experienced
in using software in lessons.

40. Our school is implementing this year the
interactive whiteboard and its use in
Mathematics and many other subjects.
