• God’s inspired message: “I love you.”
• Events: The people hear the message in the
events of their lives.
• Oral Tradition: We learn about the message as
the stories of the events are told and re-told
generation after generation.
• Written Word: The inspired message is written
down in the form of stories, sayings, songs,
gospels, and letters.
• Bible: The writings are put together into the
official “canon” – 73 books that make up the
Bible.
