2. Russian Salad history
•The rusian salad was invented by a Frenchman
named Lucien Olivier. It is said that Olivier

restaurant in Moscow, the Hermitage around
1860. Potatoes, carrots, tuna, olives and eggs are
the basic ingredients.

•To make the mayonnaise, first you have
to add oil (300 milliliters), a splash of

salt. This amount of mayonnaise will be
for a rusian salad of 4 people. You also
have to add 3 or 4 drops of water; this is
more easy to do.

•In the first step, you have to
boil the potatoes, while the potatoes are
boiling you can cut the olives into pieces
and put the eggs to boil. You have to do
the mayonnaise too.
6. Second step:
•In the second step, you have to mash the
potatoes and mix them with the variants,
the thee hard-boiled eggs, the tuna, the
olives and the mayonnaise. Remember that
we will keep one egg yolk to scratch on the
top and decorate the salad.
7. Last step:
•In the last step, you have to shape the

egg on top and put the pepper in elongated
