2. Our Idea
The idea for our video is a house party, we want to take shots
of people enjoying themselves and having a good time. We
want the video to be upbeat. We want to have lots of people in
our video and give the atmosphere of a casual get together.
We also think it would be a good idea to include props such as
fancy dress masks and hats to make it more fun and this would
also go with our theme for our video.
3. Song
We decided that we want to use Sub Focus – Turn It Around because
it goes along with our idea and the song is very upbeat and it will
be easy to put the clips with the music. We also all agreed on this
song so it was an obvious choice to pick for our music video.
4. Location
The location that we have chosen for our music video is Megan
Copeland’s house. We chose this location because we wanted to
create the atmosphere of a house party and by filming in an actual
house would make the music video look authentic. We also needed
somewhere that would hold quite a lot of people as we are planning
on inviting quite a few people to fill up the house so that we can
create the house party atmosphere.
5. Camera
The camera we have chosen to use to film with is the Nikon
D3100, we want to take zoom shots, panning shots and high angle
shots. We would like to take shots of people enjoying themselves so
that the shots look quite natural. We think that this would go along
with the music best as we don’t want it to look too staged.
6. People
We have decided to ask some of our friends so there will be about
20 people male and female, we will also be in the video ourselves.
7. Props
We think that to enhance our video we should use some props to
make it more interesting. We have decided that we will using things
such as fancy dress face masks, beer goggles, alcohol, cups and
wigs. We want our video to show people having fun and to not be
too serious so we think that props would be a good thing to include
in the video.
