The presentation discusses the importance of environmental sustainability competency within the organisational value chain, and the extent to which this influences both operational and strategic risk and opportunity. Practical approaches for identifying and implementing competency programmes will be explored, as will bespoke communication techniques to support the integration of environmental sustainability objectives within a range of organisational departments and levels of responsibility.
