Harton and westoe boxing and fitness club which is a fitness
club which provides group sessions 1:1 sessions and an eight
week free training program to prepare armature boxers for
a big charity match which is a part of box clever events.
Harton and westoe do most of there advertising through
there Facebook page which has a total of 1,218 members in
it in total.They do keep very up to date with there Facebook
page with there being 48 new posts in the last 30 days. Since
the last ox clever event the page has gotten 393 new
follwers

marketing
campaign
The whole purpose of this marketing campaign is to
get new members into the boxing club and to just
promote the club to show more people that they are
there and what they do.
The existing target audience for this club is male and
females age 8-60 which is a very wide target audience
which means we will have to make this a very diverse
campaign that will interest everyone.

Every second there are 20,000 people on Facebook.This
means in just 18 minutes there are 11 million users on
Facebook, Facebook is one of the most popular social media
sites and it is where Harton and Westoe boxing club currently
do most of there promoting.
1 billion people use Instagram every month, Harton and
Westoe do have an Instagram page but it is not as big as
There Facebook page with having only 480 followers
Compared to 1,218 on Facebook
YouTube gets over 1.8 billion users every month, so
YouTube would be the best place to put a video for it too
be seen by many people.As far as I know Harton and
Westoe do not do much promoting onYouTube so I think
doing a video would be the best way to promote the club.

Resources
The resources I will need to shoot my promotional video
will be a camera, this will be hired from college free of
charge. I will also need a tripod as I want my video to look
as professional as possible.
Location
The place I will be shooting will be at Harton andWestoe
boxing and fitness club I will go here on the 1st April to get
the shots I need for the video, Instagram page and poster.
The message that my campaign will have is that boxing
isn’t just about fighting it has so many health benefits
such as it improves your cardiovascular health, it can
destress you and help with your mental health, but mostly
it will also be a great place for you to socialise and meet
new people.
Also with the Box clever events people are doing it for a
charity that they believe in and what to help so it is giving
people ways to help out there favourite charities.

I also experimented with changing the logo on photoshop
just so people would see something a bit different, I chose
this design as I though it was very simply yet still keeping
with the theme if the original logo so I am not totally
changing it. I created the logo on Photoshop as I knew I
could get all the desired effects from this. I used tools
such as the magnetic lasso tool to crop around my images
so they looked more professional.

Initially when making the poster
I wanted to add some of the
images that I had took myself
like the one above but when
putting them on the poster it
didn’t really fit with the ideas
and theme that I already had so
it made the poster look less
professional. So I ended up with
this as my final poster which
came out very well.

The Harton and Westoe boxing
Instagram page was made on
the 2nd of April, for this I added
various pictures off when we
visited the club and pictures of
the poster that I also made.
I also added a picture of
another poster I made that
states different benefits of
boxing so I got across the
message that I initially
intended.
I chose to put this on Instagram
as I know that I will reach a
different audience on
Instagram than I would on
Facebook as Instagram does
have a stereotypically younger
audience than Facebook

The promotional video I made consist of
someone training for a fight , it shows him
practicing in the ring and him doing the
exercises outside of the ring. I wanted to film
someone who had some experience with
boxing so it would look more professional.
I also made the whole video black and white I
did this so the whole video would look simple
and it made the video more interesting using
the contrasting colours.At the beginning of
the video I added the knew logo so people
knew what and who the video was for.

After making the video I asked a friend to have a
look and give improvements she said that a logo
needed to be added and also the address of the
place so people would know where it was.
