3. Marika: Eloise’s Double Page Spread is discreet yet straightforward. It
involves something deeper than the actual physical appearance in which
it reveals the nature side of the band members. It’s not that colorful and
it follows to the rock magazine norm which is dark but sleek. Apart from
that, the background shows the dark greenery scene that links to the
group’s advocacy about nature.
Miguel: The image and cover models are just perfect for the mood of
this magazine. They look mysterious yet they fight for what they believe
in. The red lines show resemblance of the Great Britain’s union jack
which implies that the members of the band came from England. Eloise
must have though of this thoroughly to create something that portrays
each characteristics of the group.
Raphael: Although there are few paragraphs/columns, each sentence
makes sense and is very detailed in which makes the readers
understand more of the interview. However, it’s not a typical interview
with lots of questions. The writings are just there to speak about the
band itself and the members in the point of view of an interviewee. I
like how they’re not looking at the camera, it makes them look careless
of what the society thinks of them (just implying).
These people are my friends and I asked them to give me a feedback
about my Double Page Spread through Skype and FaceTime (iOS).
